That social network or third-party may provide us with the information you agreed to be shared publicly on or through such social network or other third party platform. Please check the settings on the third party social network or platform for checking the details on the information you have agreed to share publicly.
Rest assured, any information you provide will not be used without your consent or for unauthorized purposes. We rely upon your information on an “as is” basis and always try to keep the integrity of your data safe using strictest of policies and standards. You may wish to opt out of our services later and change the access settings with such third party website, if you do not like our services. You also have the option of changing, editing or limiting any detail provided to us, by making the necessary changes in the profile/account created by you, whether at Samosa or at such third party website. The information you uploaded, belongs to you, and you have the absolute right to change/edit/limit it as many times as you want.
Personal Information that we automatically collect: When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain technical information about you such as the details of the device you used to access Samosa or other dynamic details about your continued usage of the Service. The information we automatically collect may include (where available) the type and model of device you use, the device's unique device identifier, operating system, browser type, language options, current time zone and mobile network information to allow you to use the Service, for system administration purposes and to report aggregated, anonymized information to our business partners. If you do not wish for us to provide aggregated, anonymized information to our trusted business partners, please opt out of our services as mentioned below.
Why we need such information: We use this information only to administer the Service and for our internal operations including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes, to improve the Service, how it is presented and its safety and security. Please note that the Service now requires access to your device’s contact list, photograph storage application, camera in order to share news and information about our platform and its features to your friends, family and contacts who may be interested; to store the completed videos, audio files, GIFs and stickers; to help you make dubs, funny videos using Samosa, but rest assured, we do not take away any information, videos, photos or other content from your device’s photograph storage application.
Log information: When you use the Service, we may also automatically collect and store the following information in server logs: internet protocol (IP) addresses, internet service provider (ISP), clickstream data, browser type and language, viewed and exit pages and date or time stamps. We use this information to communicate with the Service and to better understand our users' operating systems, for system administration and to audit the use of the Service. We do not use this data to identify the name, address or other personal details of any individual.
Deleting your profile: If you wish to discontinue using Samosa, you may opt out of our services by either deleting your profile using the account settings (option coming soon) or by writing to us at email@example.com preferably with an email heading stating “Account Deletion Request”. While sending this request, please use the same account that was used by you to access our services and clearly indicate your intent to delete your profile at Samosa. In case the request is not made from the same account or is unclear as to its meaning, we will not be able to act upon it. If for some reason you are not able to send an email using the same account as mentioned above, we request you to provide us with such other information that may be reasonably necessary to help us verify that it is indeed you.
We respect your privacy and will honour your decisions on Samosa. Upon deletion of your account, we will remove your data from our systems within a reasonable amount of time, subject to technical limitations, if any. We may, however, save certain information and logs pertaining to your account that may be required to be stored in accordance with applicable laws or pursuant to any order, direction or decision of any court, tribunal or appropriate authority, or for archival purposes or data that may be otherwise publicly available or data that is neither sensitive nor personally identifiable. However, we retain the final discretion in this matter.
